Mind Messiahs LLP (“Mind Messiahs”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you use the Mind Messiahs mobile application (the “App”), our website, and our membership programs and events.

By registering for or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide

  • Registration details: first and last name, email address, mobile number, WhatsApp number, address, city, pincode, business category and a member introduction.
  • Aadhaar number (optional): if you choose to provide it, we use it only to verify your identity for membership.
  • Profile and business details: profile photo, business name, business details, website, services and any other information you add to your profile.
  • Gallery images: photos you upload to your profile gallery.
  • Connections (referrals): details you enter when you pass a business connection to another member. For a contact outside Mind Messiahs, this may include that person’s name, phone number and the details of the opportunity. Share a third party’s details only if you have their permission.
  • Event registrations: your attendance, and the name and phone number of any visitor or guest you register.
  • Thank-you notes and messages you send to other members through the App.
  • Support and account deletion requests you submit to us.

b) Information collected automatically

  • Device information: a device identifier used to manage your secure login session, plus device type, operating system and app version.
  • Push notification token: if you allow notifications, a token from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send you notifications.
  • Log data: IP address, access times and error logs, used for security and troubleshooting.

c) Device permissions

The App accesses your camera or photo library only when you choose to upload a profile, business or gallery photo. It sends notifications only if you allow them. You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.

We do not collect your location or your contacts, track you across other companies’ apps or websites, or show third-party advertising.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your membership account and verify your identity.
  • To show your member profile to other members and connect you with chapters, meetings and events.
  • To record, track and report connections (referrals), meetings and networking statistics, including downloadable reports.
  • To register you and your guests for events.
  • To send service messages such as login details, OTPs for password reset, announcements, newsletters and push notifications.
  • To provide support, keep the App secure, prevent misuse and improve our services.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

3. Who Can See Your Information

  • Other logged-in members can see your member profile: name, photo, business details, chapter, gallery images, and the mobile and WhatsApp numbers you provide, so they can contact you for business.
  • Members involved in a connection can see the connection details and any thank-you notes related to it.
  • Chapter administrators and Mind Messiahs administrators can see member and activity information to manage chapters, events and memberships.
  • Your Aadhaar number is never shown to other members.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

  • We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
  • We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the App, strictly for that purpose. These include our hosting provider, Google Firebase (push notifications) and email delivery services.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our members and the public.

5. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information. Payments are not processed inside the App.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We keep your personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide our services, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Deleting your account: you can request deletion at any time in the App (Profile → Delete Account) or at admin.mindmessiahs.com/delete-account. When your account is deleted, we remove your profile, contact details, Aadhaar number, photos and gallery images. Connection and event records that involve other members may be kept in anonymised form (shown as “Deleted Member”) so that other members’ records stay accurate. Deletion requests are processed within [X] days.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

  • access and update your information (most of it can be edited in the App under Profile);
  • request correction or deletion of your personal information;
  • withdraw consent, for example by turning off notifications or deleting your account;
  • opt out of promotional emails by using the “unsubscribe” link or contacting us.

8. Children

The App is intended for business professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Third-Party Links

The App may open external services such as the phone dialer, WhatsApp, email or websites. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. For significant changes, we will notify you in the App or by email.
